Sport Fishing

Fishing license issued by SEMARNAT is required. Fishing in Acapulco is Bottom Fishing and Deep Sea Fishing mainly. It is practiced throughout the year, from November to May are the months of highest abundance of large species such as Sailfish, Marlin, Mahi-Mahi, Tuna, Shark, Roosterfish, etc. The journey over the sea is 5 hours on average.

Bottom Fishing

Its practice requires a very tough fishing gear and takes place in deeper water in the sea, preferably with the boat anchored and adding extra weight on the line for longer range and using fresh bait for larger fish.

Deep Sea Fishing

It is necessary to depart from the coast to open sea to find large fish, for what it takes special equipment to facilitate the location of schools and the use of fishing equipment with rods of greater resistance, length and flexibility to provide as many lines as possible, preferably using fresh bait. It uses the technique of "curricaneo", which means keeping the boat at a constant slow speed.

Bay Cruise

In the morning or evening we offer a tour of Acapulco Bay visiting the main attractions, stopping at "La Quebrada" to admire the spectacle of the high cliff divers and the "Isla la Roqueta" to enjoy a free swim time. Services lasting 4, 5, 6, or 7 hours depending on customer needs.

Scuba Diving

Its practice required to present diving valid certification. Roqueta Island, Puerto Marques, Caleta, Icacos, El Morro, are places recommended for certification of amateurs. Similarly for certified divers whom in addition may also visit places like sunken ships, underwater mountain walls, caves, coral formations. It is done preferably in the morning with average duration of four hours. It includes full scuba gear with full tank dive for 1 hour.

Snorkel

No certification is required, only requires knowledge of swimming. Roqueta Island, Puerto Marquez, Caleta, Icacos, El Morro, are the most desirable places for snorkeling because of its clear visibility for both the beginner and more experienced. It is done preferably in the morning with average duration of four hours. Snorkel equipment is included full mask, snorkel and fins.

Marine Taxidermy

There is no greater prize of an effort than to look the fish caught, so we also provide you with our service marine taxidermy to preserve the piece for ever, especially with species of Sailfish, Marlin or Mahi-Mahi.

With an experience of over 30 years our procedure of taxidermy is 100% handmade in the treatment of these species and guaranteed. It is used in the species caught only the head, beak, the entire skin, tail, sail, except the flesh and skeleton.

The process takes 3-4 weeks, in which the original parts are dried, scrapping meat and degreased to remove all odors from fish to finally put it to a semi-tanning process and packaging.

The memory and catching trophy will be sent to the client's home by Federal Express, UPS or Estafeta Mexicana, up to customer choice.
